While our apartment has private parking, there's no need for a car. There are multiple restaurants, groceries and gyms within 10 minutes walk of the apartment. The US Capitol, Supreme Court and Library of Congress are a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk along Maryland Avenue, or catch the D2X bus, which is a 10 minute ride to Union Station (DC Metro/US Capitol); 15 minute ride Chinatown (National Gallery, Verizon Center); 20 minute ride, downtown DC (Lafayette Park/White House) Nearest Metro Stops Union Station 1.3 miles (red line), DC Armory 1 mile (orange/blue) or Eastern Market 1.2 miles (orange/blue) DC Bike share is two blocks from the apartment.
